Detailed Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1: Rhinos & Riverbank Arrival

· 7:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by your Journey Junction guide.
· 10:30 AM: Stopover in Masindi for refreshments (own expense).
· 12:00 PM: Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Receive a briefing from the rangers.
· 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Rhino Tracking on Foot. Walk through the savannah with an armed ranger for an up-close encounter with Uganda’s only wild rhinos. An incredible conservation success story.
· 2:30 PM: Enjoy an included lunch at the sanctuary restaurant.
· 3:30 PM: Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Enter via the Kichumbanyobo Gate.
· 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Evening Game Drive (En-route to Lodge). Your first taste of the park’s wildlife spot elephants, buffalo, hartebeests, and baboons as you head toward the Nile.
· 6:30 PM: Check-in at your lodge. Freshen up and relax with views of the river or savannah.
· 8:00 PM: Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
· Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Predators, Prey & The Thundering Falls

· 6:30 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge.
· 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Morning Game Drive on the Northern Bank (Buligi Circuit). Venture into the prime savannah for sightings of lions, leopards (if lucky), elephants, giraffes, and abundant antelope. Your guide will expertly track animals and explain the ecosystem.
· 11:30 AM: Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy the pool or the stunning views.
· 2:30 PM: Drive to the top of the falls sector.
· 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls. A moderate walk to the most breathtaking viewpoint. Feel the spray and hear the roar as the entire Nile River explodes through a 7-meter-wide gorge.
· 5:00 PM: Return to your lodge.
· 8:00 PM: Dinner and overnight, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.
· Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: River Giants & Farewell

· 7:00 AM: Breakfast at the lodge and check out.
· 8:00 AM: Drive to Paraa Jetty.
· 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Highlight - Nile Delta Boat Safari. A serene cruise to the base of the falls. Get close to massive hippo pods, see giant Nile crocodiles, and spot spectacular birdlife, including the rare Shoebill stork.
· 11:30 AM: Final Scenic Game Drive as you exit the park.
· 1:00 PM: Stop for lunch at a restaurant in Masindi Town (included).
· 2:00 PM: Begin the return journey to Kampala/Entebbe.
· 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Arrival and drop-off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport (for evening flights).
