07:30 AM Departure Pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Drive East toward Jinja through scenic tea and sugarcane plantations.
09:00 AM Ssezibwa Falls (Optional) A quick stop at these cultural falls for a brief hike and to learn about the local Buganda legends.
10:30 AM Mabira Forest Arrival Arrive at the Eco-Tourism Centre at Najjembe. Briefing by our lead forest guide.
11:00 AM Forest Trekking Begin a 2-3 hour guided hike. We focus on the Red Trail or Yellow Trail for the best primate sightings and medicinal plant identification.
01:30 PM Rainforest Lunch Enjoy a hot local or continental lunch at the Mabira Rainforest Lodge or a picnic lunch in the designated forest clearings.
02:30 PM Adventure Choice
Option A: Hike to Griffin Falls for photos and relaxation.
